Welcome to "Run For Albania"! We are the Russell/Linderman Orthodox mission team that has been serving in Albanian for the last four and a half years.  On October 21st, with God's help, George ran the Detroit Free Press Marathon to increase awareness for Orthodox missions and to raise funds for our mission here.  One of the main parts of our mission is the Orthodox Soup Kitchen which we operate in Tirana, Albania, under the supervision of the Archbishop Anastasios. The pictures on this page are of this project that has operated since Jan. 2005.

Our goal is to use this marathon as a way to highlight the mission work of the OCMC mission teams in Albania, and to give people an opportunity to participate in this work through their prayers and support.  For those of you that have supported us before, you know that we consider you partners in our work here and that your support is the only reason we are able to stay and continue to "Go forth and make disciples of all nations".
